Still holding faith, he lay by the window, smiling wide,
Even at gray clouds, raindrops sliding down the white frame outside.
He wasn’t alone — Mom was always right there by his side,
And in his heart, God dwelled, never to hide.
Embracing life, hold tight to your faith, don’t let it fade,
Don’t close the door on good deeds, let kindness cascade.
Help them out, give them one more brand-new day,
Lord, drive away the evil shadow of disease, chase it away!
No strength left, but we keep fighting every dawn,
Each day we wait for a miracle to be drawn.
Mother bends over her child, holding back the flood,
Whispering with love, eyes full of blood:

He looks in her eyes, asks questions that sting like bees,

Stop wasting on pills, learn to value each breath,
See my pain and learn what true life is worth.”
He opened his eyes — Mom’s tear woke him from sleep,
Doctor said: „Leave the room, we’re starting the treatment deep…”
Lord, protect the fathers and mothers from this fate,
From burying their children — spare them that weight!
