„Your Majesty, you chose me to entertain your wife and your son
Then you chose me to be in line with your thoughts
But as time went on, my most important role was to listen to you
This room where all your wealth is stacked makes me feel ill
Oh! Your Majesty you spend your days counting your gold coins
And you have always used an old broken-down carriage
I spend my days watching you contemplating
Your wealth from your balcony
Nothing leaves this room of wealth,
Even though the gold keeps on piling up
Today, your son is seriously ill and at the risk of losing your esteem
I must order you to give the money you owe me

He leaves this letter on the table, he sees the king
Hunting an eagle who holds in his beak a gold coin
This majestic bird finishes by letting go of the gold coin,
Whose lead represents a royal happy face
The young king orders his jester to leave the room of wealth and tells him not to disturb him under any pretext:

„Yes your Majesty, but read this letter…”

Early morning the jester doesn’t find the king
He goes to the balcony and finds the letter on the floor:
„I leave all my wealth to my child!”
Then he goes to the edge and discovers the king
Covered in blood, lying on a mountain of gold
„My money will not leave me while I am alive”
